Open:  The resort is open all year. Reception is staffed 24 hours a day.

Location: Into the Wild is to the west of Sauraha in Chitwan National Park, overlooking the Rapti River. Bharatpur airport is about 15kms away.  

Rooms: There are 14 cottages, all with en-suite bathrooms with full running water, shower, wash basin and flush toilet. Bedrooms are cooled by fans and lead out to private balconies.  

Activities: You'll have a choice of jeep drives, canoe trips on the river, nature walks and bird watching trips, all led by enthusiastic naturalist guides. Guides present slide shows on some evenings, to compliment the day's activities. Staff organise guided trips to the local Tharu village, travelling by ox cart.

Facilities:  The restaurant serves local, Indian, Chinese and continental dishes. There are regular displays of Tharu music and dance in the evening. The terrace has sofas and coffee tables and is a good place to relax with a drink between activities, and indoors there' a lounge and bar. The resort is set in pleasant gardens. The resort offers a laundry service.  

Dining:  Meals are eaten at individual or group tables in the restaurant.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome.

Health:  This is a malarial area.

Communication:  There is Wi-Fi internet access in guest cottages, the reception area and restaurant.
