Infinity Resort Kaziranga
Tribes Style: Modest
- A good value base for exploring Kaziranga National Park.
- Close to the central gate of the park.
- Jeep safaris to search for great one-horned rhinos and three species you won’t find in central India parks: wild elephants, gibbons and giant hornbills. You might even spot a Bengal tiger, plus other exciting wildlife.
- Excellent birding in the park, with over 470 species.
Infinity Resort is a simple lodge which is a good value base from which to explore Kaziranga National Park. With just 16 rooms, it has a more personal feel than larger resorts and, while not luxurious, it will suit wildlife enthusiasts whose focus is more on the wildlife than the accommodation.
Kaziranga is the place to come if you want to be sure to see the great one-horned rhino as 70% of the world’s population is here. There are also three species you won’t find in central India parks: wild elephants, gibbons and giant hornbills. Plus, there are Bengal tigers (highest density of any park, though hard to spot here), and other exciting wildlife, such as capped langurs, Malayan giant squirrels, and water buffalos. There is also great birding in the park, with over 470 species including the great Indian hornbill, Blyth’s kingfisher, jungle fowl, fish eagles and vultures, parakeets, sunbirds, bee-eaters and more. Kaziranga is too often overlooked; it's an excellent park.
Infinity Resort is a good place to stay here if you’re looking for somewhere quite simple with no frills but adequate comfort and friendly staff. We like the fact that it’s not huge (just 16 rooms) and that the lodge realises that the experience of the park is why its guests are here, rather than for a holiday resort. We rate the lodge as somewhere you can confidently stay for your Kaziranga experience if you’re trying to keep a lid on your budget. Don’t expect haute cuisine or the best feather pillows but it’s clean and comfortable, with enthusiastic management.

Client Rating for India 5/5 from 130 reviews
We didn’t stay here but had a good look around. It’s a simple place with no luxuries, though certainly comfortable enough. If you want a less expensive option at Kaziranga we think this would be your best choice. The manager was very enthusiastic and helpful, and they have a well-known naturalist guide based here, which says a lot about their commitment to the wildlife experience.
