Rooms: 8 meru-style tents with private balconies and en-suite bathrooms. The tents overlook the river and are equipped with cupboards and tables.

Activities: Game viewing by boat on the Chobe River. You are allocated your own guide and tender boat for the duration of your stay. Birding safaris – there are over 400 wetland and woodland species in the area. The lodge offers guided photographic safaris. This is also a good area for fishing, particularly for tiger fish. Guided walks and village visits can also be arranged.

Facilities: The main lodge is built out over the river and houses the lounge, bar and dining area. All are under thatch, beneath large shady trees. There is a plunge pool and deck, by the waterfront. The lodge owners also have 2 luxury Ichobezi houseboats which can be combined with a stay at the lodge.

Dining: Meals are eaten communally in the dining room or outdoors, often with lodge’s owners.

Children: The camp accepts children of all ages.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There no land line on the island, but mobile reception is possible with a Botswana sim card.
