Open: House of Waine is open all year apart from the month of May. 

Location: It is on Masai Lane in the Karen district of Nairobi.

Rooms: There are 11 bedrooms each with iits own style, colour theme and name. All are air conditioned and en-suite and most have a separate shower and bath. Rooms are equipped with televisions, direct dial telephones, complimentary cold drinks and tea and coffee facilities, minibar with soft drinks, hairdryer and laptop safe. One of the rooms is a huge suite with a 4 poster bed and a large terrace. Two of the rooms are interconnecting so make good family accommodation. 

Activities: Local attractions that can be visited include the Giraffe Centre, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Karen Blixen Museum, craft shops and art galleries. 

Facilities: These include a lounge, restaurant, bar and breakfast room.There is a good-size heated swimming pool, with a pool bar. The hotel has just over 1 hectare of grounds.

Dining: Good quality meals can be provided on request. Usually the hotel is booked on a B&B bases. Meals are eaten indoors and outside in the gardens, as preferred.

Children: Children are welcome here. Cots can be provided on request.

Communication: There is free Wi-Fi internet access and mobile phone signals are good.
