Hotel Migmar

Open:  Hotel Migmar is open all year.

Location:  Hotel Migmar is located just 1km from Thimphu city, set in spacious grounds bordering the main road.  

Rooms:  Guest rooms are well equipped and feature plasma screen TV with DVD player, tea and coffee maker, minibar, ‘phone and Wi-Fi internet access. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with underfloor heating. There are 17 standard rooms, 8 deluxe suites and 2 executive suites. Room service is available from 7am till 10pm.  

Activities:  Visiting the sites, shops and markets of Thimphu, exploring local monasteries, dzongs and temples. The hotel can arrange various excursions to local places of interest.

Facilities:  The hotel serves buffet-style meals with Bhutanese, Oriental, Indian and European dishes. The bar offers a good selection of soft and alcoholic drinks. The hotel provides a range of guest services including laundry, currency exchange, business centre and travel services. Leisure facilities include a steam room and an indoor swimming pool in a building adjoining the main hotel.

Dining: Meals are taken at individual tables in the restaurant.

Children:  Children of all ages are welcome.  Babysitting can be arranged on request.

Health:  We recommend malarial prophylactics for travel to the low lying districts of southern Bhutan.

Communication:  There is Wi-Fi internet access in guest rooms.
