Open:  Hotel Fasano is open all year.

Location:  Hotel Fasano is located in Ipanema in Rio de Janeiro, near beaches, shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel is 5 minutes from Copacabana Beach and 20 minutes from the historic centre of Rio.

Rooms:  There are 79 rooms and 10 suites, all with balconies and many have sea views. Room amenities include LCD TV, ‘phone, minibar and Wi-Fi internet access. All rooms are air conditioned. Sites have a living room, an iPod dock and coffee maker. The en-suite bathrooms have power showers. There is 24-hour room service.

Activities:  Exploring the sites, shops and restaurants of Rio, relaxing on the beach, on the rooftop terrace, swimming, enjoying spa and beauty treatments, working out in the gym.

Facilities:th floor roof terrace, with a sundeck and a shaded seating area. The hotel has a private beach area and provides a beach service for guests, which includes sun loungers, sun shades, water and sunscreen. There are 3 restaurants. Fasano al Mare specialises in Mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on seafood. Meals can be taken indoors or out on the terrace. The pool bar offers sandwiches, snacks and drinks, and Baretto-Londra serves light meals and cocktails in an atmosphere reminiscent of an English pub. The spa offers massage and a variety of treatments, hair and beauty services and has a steam room. Hydro treatments are available on the roof terrace, where there is also a gym and personal trainers. There is a business centre.  

Dining:  Meals are taken at individual tables.

Children:  Children of all ages are welcome. Babysitting can be arranged.

Health:  Rio is not a malarial area.

Communication: There is Wi-Fi internet access in guest rooms and some public areas, to be paid for locally.
