Rooms: There are 110 rooms arranged over 8 floors. They consist of city view and sea view rooms and suites. All have cable TV, heating, a desk and en-suite bathroom with toiletries. There are double, twin and triple bedrooms. Room service is available.

Activities: Sightseeing in Punta Arenas, shopping. The city is a cruise port and is a useful stopover before and after a voyage.

Facilities: The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a cosy bar, and a lounge area in the lobby with an open fireplace, and a library. The hotel has a fitness centre. There is a laundry service.

Dining: Meals are eaten at individual tables. Breakfast is served buffet-style (with fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, bread, cooked eggs and fruit juices) and other meals are a la carte.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome. Triple rooms are available.

Health: This is not a malaria area.

Communication: There is complimentary Wi-Fi and wired internet access in guest rooms and some communal areas. There is a computer room.

Again room overlooking a park, enormous club sandwiches, friendly staff with live English footie on the bar tv! (Shame we missed out on another day in Punta Arenas as it is a nice town).
