Hotel AWA is owned by an architect and its bold design, which uses exposed concrete, glass and state of the art techniques, complements its natural setting by the shore of Lake Llanquihue. The interior uses local materials including wood, volcanic rock and flagstones, reinforcing the links with the environment, and the combination of traditional craftworks and modern art underlines the continuity of past and present. 

Guest rooms and suites are thoughtfully designed and decorated to provide all you need in an unobtrusive manner. Air conditioning and a fireplace mean you can maintain the temperature of your choice regardless of the weather. There's free wifi for keeping in touch with the outside world as you sip a chilled drink from the minibar and take in the lake views through the huge full length window. The bathroom includes an indulgent whirlpool bath as well as a shower.

Produce including fruit and vegetables is carefully cultivated in the organic garden and other ingredients are sourced locally. All are used to make meals that are largely based on regional recipes.
