Fairy-tail place! Warm fire burning a night meant it was hard to leave some of the public areas at night, but knowing that housekeping had turned on the heating and added hot-water bottles to the bed made easier to leave. Chatting to the owners over breakfast made you realise why they bought it too.

Beautiful buildings and grounds and we had an enormous bedroom with a sitting area and fireplace in which, as dusk fell, a log fire was lit. After an excellent dinner we returned to find hot-water bottles in our bed

What a place! A holiday in itself just to be there. Mad Englishman (different one) restores old Hacienda superbly, fills it with artefacts and Spanish/South American furniture, and creates amazing garden and grounds. Logs fires and hot water bottles. Humming bird at window box of bathroom on 1st morning!
