Hacienda Cusin was built at the beginning of the 17th century and has recently been converted to a country house inn offering a range of guest accommodation.

The hacienda is set in some 7 acres of lush gardens complete with hundreds of trees, patios, fountains, many species of orchids and over 50 species of birds, which guests are welcome to explore using the self-guided tour book and map available from reception. The hacienda offers a variety of activities including hiking, climbing, mountain biking and horse riding. It is also possible to visit local villages and, of course, the famous Otavalo market, which is about a 20 minute drive away.

Guests are accommodated in rooms, suites and garden cottages, all with en suite bathroom, garden and mountain views. The hacienda has a dining room complete with fireplace, bar, library with books and DVDs, garden reading room, games room with billiards, darts and table tennis and a squash court.

The dining room is open for breakfast - a wonderful meal including fresh fruits, juices, homemade bread and jam, lunch and dinner. Enjoy an atmospheric candle-lit dinner by the log fire. Barbecues are sometimes arranged in the gardens for delicious al fresco dining.
