Open: Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp is open all year round.
Location: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest near the village of Buhoma.
Rooms: 8 large en-suite tents.
Activities: Gorilla trekking, forest walks and cultural interaction.
Facilities: The camp has a bar and dining cottage overlooking the forest and an open air platform for outdoor dining. There is a cosy campfire for chilly evenings and a small gift shop with a variety of local artifacts.
Dining: Meals are served in the dining cottage or on the platform (weather permitting).
Children: Children of all ages are welcome but gorilla activities require an age limit of 15 years and over.
Health: This is a malarial area.
Communication: There is a limited mobile reception, no direct phone or fax and complimentary internet.
