Gocta Andes Lodge is a charming place from which to explore Gocta Falls and the surrounds including the Kuelap Fortress. Maximising on the stunning vistas all the rooms and the public areas face out onto the falls, it's a captivating view, one you could never grow tired of.

It's a comfortable, small hotel with friendly staff, a cross between a guesthouse and a boutique country hotel. There are 16 rooms and 2 suites, each one spacious and furnished in a simple contemporary style. The rooms have large picture windows leading out onto a private terrace or balcony, had we already mentioned the views?

The restaurant serves delicious Andean flavours, starting the day with a buffet breakfast. Weather dependent you can eat indoors or alfresco on the terrace as you take in the captivating falls as they cascade down the cliffside. In the pretty gardens you'll find the infinity pool with loungers around the edge, a delightful spot to spend a little down-time and recharge both the body and mind. You may even come across the odd llama going about its business. The cloudforest surrounding the property is a haven for birds, in short this is a little corner of paradise.
