Garonga Safari Camp is an exclusive 12 bed camp in the Greater Makalali Conservancy situated to the west of the Kruger National Park. The tented rooms overlook a dry riverbed and each has a wooden deck complete with hammock. The rooms are spacious and incorporate an ensuite shower as well as an outdoor shower.

Buffet breakfasts and lunches are generous and dinner can be enjoyed either communally or privately. Outdoors there's a boam are for al fresco meals, an infinity pool and a series of viewing decks with excellent views of the riverbed. The camp has a library, curio shop and a bush spa where you can indulge in a range of aromatherapy and reflexology treatments.

Activities include game drives, guided bush walks and bird watching. During your stay you can treat yourself to a soak in the bush bath on the raised deck, as you sip a glass of wine and listen to the sounds of the bush. For a more in-depth bush experience you can enjoy a sleep-out some 20 minutes drive from the camp. A sumptuous picnic, a drinks box and hot drinks are provided, as are as wash basin and toilet. In the morning guests are collected and taken back to camp.

Other activities available beyond the reserves, include horse riding, scenic helicopter rides and visiting Blyde River Canyon.
