Open: Essenza is open all year.

Location: The modern hotel is on Jericoacoara beach, Jeri for short, on the northern coast of Brazil, about 300kms west of Fortaleza.

Rooms: There are 30 air conditioned guest suites, arranged on the ground and first floors. All occupy 50sqm and have flatscreen TV, Wi-Fi, minibar, coffee maker, digital safe, hairdryer plus an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower, toiletries and bathrobes. Each room has a terrace or balcony facing the sea.

Activities: Relax on the beach, go surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, explore Jeri’s shops and restaurants, watch the sunset from Por do Sol dune, enjoy the lively local music scene.

Facilities: There is a 1,300sqm rim-flow pool and a wet bar, a rooftop jacuzzi, restaurant (see below), spa, saunas (wet and dry), gym, terrace with playing cards and table games, and reading area with Wi-Fi internet access.

Dining: The Osteria and Bistro restaurant serves national and international dishes, within sight of the beach and ocean.

Children: Children aged 12 years and over are welcome.

Health: Jericoacoara is a low to no risk malarial area.
