Exprience life in a beautiful desert setting at Encouter by Ongava. You stay in a walk-in tent with canvas walls, elegant furniture, and wooden floors There's ample space for you to make yourself at home. Mesh windows on both sides let in the light but keep out insects, and double doors to the front lead out to your veranda where you can rest and watch animals at the waterhole. To the rear of the bedroom there's a bathroom with tiwn hand basins and a shower, and you have a second shower open to the sky.

The main area is large and shaded by a high thatched roof. Relax here between safaris, chatting to fellow guests and leafing through a book, or stroll out to the deck that faces the waterhole. There's a swimming pool for a refreshing dip, and a camp fire where you can pull up a chair at dusk and enjoy a sundowner drink. Meals are served in the dining room and on the deck.

The camp is in the private Ongava Game Reserve, and you can go for walks here with your guide. Game drives take place both here and in nearby Etosha National Park, You also have a chance to accompany a guide and tracker on foot in search of rhinos, which is sure to prove a memorable experience.
