Open: All year. 

Location: The lodge is located between Chobe National Park and the Matetsi wildlife conservancy, within Kasane Forest Reserve. Elephant Valley Lodge is about a 40 minute drive from the entrance to Chobe National Park, through Kasane Forest Reserve. 

Rooms: 20 meru-style tents (12 forest tents and 8 valley tents) with en-suite shower and toilet, tea and coffee making facilities, mini safe and fan. All tents have a covered deck. 

Activities: Morning boat cruises on the Chobe River and afternoon safaris into Chobe National Park and Kasane Forest Reserve, with sundowners. There is a game viewing hide at the waterhole. Bird watching is popular here. 

Facilities: There is a central thatched lounge and bar area and a gift shop. The lodge has indoor and outdoor dining areas plus a bush dinner venue. There is a swimming pool and a lovely lawns leading down to the waterhole. 

Dining: Meals are served buffet style and are eaten at individual tables. 

Children: The camp accepts children over the age of 2, however those under 6 are not allowed on safari and those between the ages of 7 and 11 are allowed on safari at the sole discretion of the lodge manager or guide. 

Health: This is a malarial area. 

Communication: Internet access is available at the main lodge. The area has variable mobile reception. The lodge’s telephone can be used by guests (pay locally). Note: Elephant Valley Lodge is fenced, to deter the many elephants that move through the area.
