The hotel is tucked away in the colonial centre of Cusco, a 5 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas. The building dates back to the early 17th century and was renovated at the end of the 20th, now providing characterful guest accommodation. Its name derives from its upper storey room which runs the full length of the house and has windows looking out over the city and mountains.
The main sites of Cusco are within walking distance. The main square with the city's cathedral and some fine churches is just 3 blocks away, as well as museums, cafes and shops, and hotel staff can arrange excursions to nearby places of interest and the Sacred Valley.
There are 17 rooms with either one double bed or two twins, a balcony suite and a family suite sleeping up to 4 and with a private balcony. All beds are extra long ,with special orthopaedic mattresses, and you'll have separate wool and alpaca blankets, a heater, IDD phone, free Wi-Fi and en-suite bathroom with 24 hour hot water.
Breakfast is included in your stay, and dinner can be provided on request.
The enclosed gardens incorporate Inca terraces and fine stonework and feature many plants and trees. It's a good area to unwind after spending time in the busy city.
