Open: Dwarika's Hotel is open all year.

Location: Dwarika's Hotel is located in the heart of Kathmandu just a short distance from Pashupathinath Temple and the Buddhist stupa at Bouddhanath. The city centre is a short taxi ride away while the airport is just a few kilometres from the hotel.

Rooms: There are 87 large, air conditioned rooms in total divided into 3 types, the heritage room, heritage suite and royal suite. Each room is individually designed and has handmade furniture and have en-suite bathrooms. Amenities include a TV, tea and coffee maker, minibar and CD player. The suites are especially spacious, while the royal suite is spread over 3 floors and has formal and informal meeting spaces and a lounge, as well as the bedroom and bathroom. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

Activities: Sightseeing in Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley, shopping, relaxing by the pool, on the terrace or in the library, enjoying spa treatments.

Facilities: There is a pleasant garden, an outdoor swimming pool and sundeck. The hotel has 3 restaurants serving Nepali, continental and Japanese cuisines. Meals can be enjoyed indoors and out. There is a lounge bar overlooking the pool. The Pancha Kosha Himalayan Spa offers therapies to relax and rejuvenate and has private baths and steam rooms. Daily yoga classes can be attended by guests while there is a gym for guests wanting more vigorous exercise. The library houses a selection of books about Nepali culture and history. Guests can buy souvenirs and handicrafts at the hotel's shop. The hotel has an extensive collection of artefacts and antiques from the 13th century on-wards.

Dining: Meals are taken at individual tables.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome.

Health: Kathmandu is not a malarial area.

Communication: There is WiFi in all rooms, to be paid for locally.
