With just 5 tents in the Duba private concession, Duba Explorers Camp offers and exclusive safari experience. This charming camp has been designed to echo the adventure and romance of a 1920s safari, couple this with the reputation the area has for large herds of buffalo and lion interaction and a high level of guiding, then it's a perfect setting for an intimate and unforgettable safari experience.

The main tent is open-sided making the most of the vistas and opportunity to spot any wildlife in the vicinity or simply enjoy the views.  It is a wonderful spot for relaxing between game drives and soak up the atmosphere with cosy seating areas, a dining area and a large deck which lends itself to dining beneath the stars or sitting around the copper fire-pit at night enjoying the crackling warmth of the fire.

The guest tents are spacious and attention to detail is evident. The decor is in keeping with the theme of a safari of yester-year with mosquito nets draping the large comfy beds, old-fashioned trunks form useful surfaces and storage and attractive Persian type rugs adorn the floor.  The en-suite bathroom has his and hers gold basins, a shower and a separate toilet. There is a feeling of tasteful luxury about Duba Explorers, with a comforting homely feel to it at the same time.

The setting of this camp is quite simply beautiful and you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.  Morning and afternoon/evening game drives are led by Duba's excellent guides. This area is rich in wildlife and they will do their utmost to give you the best experience they can, be it in a vehicle or on foot.  When water levels allow, you will also be able to enjoy motorboat and mokoro excursions on the waterways.
