Open: Desert Hills Glamping is open all year.
Location: In a secluded spot 24kms from the entrance to Sossusvlei.
Rooms: There are 11 walk-in tented rooms with wooden frames. Bedrooms have space for an easy chair and are cooled by freestanding fans. Doors open on to a covered terrace, with extra flysheets available if you require more shade. Each tent has an en-suite shower room with a hand basin and a separate toilet.
Activities: Staff can arrange a guided tour of Sossusvlei and other nearby areas, and sundowner drives.
Facilities: There is a lounge with a bar and dining area, a dining terrace, an outdoor swimming pool, sundeck and a firepit.
Dining: Meals are eaten indoors and outdoors on the main terrace.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome.
Health: This is a malarial area.
Communication: There is no internet access.

More reviewsOnce again, incredible memories of this place. Yes, the accomodation was lovely, the setting beautiful and the food fabulous but it was the people that made this place stand out. The staff were fabulous, so kind, attentive and entertaining. We even learnt some local language and were treated to dance displays after dinner.
