Desert Camp is self-catering accommodation.  Simple and comfortable and, at just 6km from the Sesriem entrance to the Namib-Naukluft National Park, this is a prime option for your stay here while exploring this stunning, scenic area.

There are 20 units in total, built from stone and canvas. Inside, the room is spacious, and comfortably furnished.  There are twin beds and a sleeper couch, so 4 can sleep here comfortably, there is a luggage area with hanging space and an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. Outside, is the adjoining shaded verandah has a kitchenette area and picnic table. There is also has a 2-plate hob, an under-counter fridge and an outdoor braai (bbq).

Reception has most things you would need to self-cater, including firewood and firelighters, they can even order groceries for you. However, if you would prefer a delicious meal to be prepared for you, it is possible to book a table at the nearby Sossusvlei Lodge which is 5km away. In the main area there is also a well stocked bar serving up cold beers, a big screen TV and a refreshing swimming pool.  This is a great budget option for couples, families or small groups travelling together who want to be near the park entrance to make the most of this beautiful area.

The views here are to be seen to be believed, it's such a beautiful area of Namibia. There is a demarcated walking trail around camp which you are free to explore and there is also an Activity Centre at nearby Sossusvlei Lodge where excursions such as nature drives, sundowner trips, guided nature walks, archery, scenic flights and more can be booked.
