The Country Club Lima Hotel is a prestigious hotel in the exclusive San Isidro district of Lima, within easy walking distance of fine shops, parks and restaurants. This handsome 70-room property was built in 1927 and over the decades has been patronised by such luminaries as John Wayne and the American billionaire Nelson Rockefeller.  The landmark building was thoroughly refurbished between 2015 and 2017. The fine Hispanic architecture was carefully restored and enhanced and result is very impressive, with a true sense of grandeur.

Inside it's as elegant as it is on the outside, with tall ceilings decorated with chandeliers, marble floors and antiques, including 300 pieces of Peruvian art from the Pedro de Osma Museum in the public areas and rooms and suites. The rooms and suites are large and impeccably presented with fine linen, stylish decor and marble bathrooms.

The elegant Perroquet Restaurant serves local and international cuisine and afternoon tea, snacks and cocktails can be taken in the beautiful Vitrales salon, sitting under its wonderful stained-glass ceiling while music is played on the grand piano, while the historic English Bar - all wood panelling and leather armchairs - offers a range of alcoholic refreshments, including a mean Pisco Sour.

Other facilities available to guests include an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna and beauty parlour. In addition, guests have access to the Lima Golf Club, which is opposite the hotel.
