Open:  Costa del Sol Wyndham Trujillo is open all year.  

Location: The hotel is in in a corner of the main square of Trujillo, the Plaza de Armas, with views of the cathedral and other colonial buildings. It is a 10-minute drive from Chan Chan and 15 minutes from the beach. The airport is also just 15 minutes' drive away.  

Rooms:  The hotel has 73 rooms, all en-suite and air conditioned. They have 32" LCD TVs, internet access and 24-hour room service. Some rooms are interconnecting. Suites offer more generously sized accommodation and have minibars and Jacuzzis. Some rooms face the main square and others overlook the central courtyard, and tend to be quieter.

Activities  The hotel is ideally placed for visiting the pre-Inca ruins at Chan Chan, the largest adobe city in the world, and the Sun and Moon Temples (also known as Huaca del Sol and Huaca de la Luna). Huanchaco beach and fishing village is just a 15-minute drive away. You can also stroll around the historic centre of Trujillo, admiring the colonial architecture.

Facilities:  There is a swimming pool in the central courtyard, with a terrace with sunny and shaded sitting areas. The gym, located on the top floor, is open all day, as is the sauna. The light and airy restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves local as well as international dishes. There's a cosy bar for pre and post dinner drinks. The lounge has ample seating and computers free for guests to use.
