Specifications: Cormorant is a 33 metre motor catamaran with a cruising speed of 14 knots.
Cabins: Cormorant has two suites (38sqm) each with a king size bed, and six staterooms (24sqm), all of which can be configured as twins or doubles. The suites and cabins one and two are on the main deck, with cabins three, four, five and six on the upper deck. They accommodate a maximum of 16 passengers. All have private bathrooms and balconies. The suites have sitting area with a sofa bed, a TV and DVD player.
Facilities & Crew: Cormorant has spacious interior living areas including a lounge and library, a dining room and bar. There is an additional bar on the upper deck. The large sundeck has loungers and a jacuzzi as well as a shaded seating and dining area. The crew consists of the captain, first mate, second mate, 2 engineers, chef, sous chef, barman, housekeeper, quality control manager and naturalist guide.
Itineraries: Cormorant offers four, five and eight day itineraries.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome.
Health: The Galapagos Islands are not a malarial area.

More reviewsThis is such a special boat - not only accommodation wise but the crew and guide are both individually exceptional and as a team, nothing short of exemplorary. The rooms are very spacious and each have their own balcony and each day the towels are arranged in such an artistic way to represent animals on the Galapagos - penguins, manta rays, sea lions etc!!!! Food was fantastic, service brilliant and all take pride in what they do, and go the extra mile to make sure everyone had a memorable trip. They are always concerned for the guests' safety but also want to make sure everyone sees and experiences this magnificent part of the world. We cannot recommend this particular boat highly enough.
