Open: Chui Lodge is open all year.

Location: Chui Lodge is in the private Oserian Wildlife Conservancy by the shores of Lake Naivasha. The lodge is about a 90-minute drive from Nairobi. There is an airstrip near the lodge and the flight from Nairobi takes about 20 minutes.

Rooms: There are 8 guest cottages, all with four-poster beds, handmade wooden furniture, local artwork, high ceilings and open fires. They have en-suite bathrooms and private decks looking out over the Rift Valley.

Activities: The lodge offers daily 4x4 game drives in the conservancy, guided nature walks, bird watching and boat trips on Lake Naivasha. You can also visit Hells Gate National Park and Lake Nakuru for further wildlife viewing. Horse riding is a popular recreational activity. The lodge arranges bush breakfasts and sundowners in specially selected locations.

Facilities: The lodge has a dining room, lounge and bar where you can relax with other guests around a roaring open fire. These are elegant areas decorated with carvings, paintings and antiques. There's an outdoor swimming pool and sun deck with views to a nearby waterhole.

Dining: The chef prepares international dishes using local ingredients many from the lodge's own farm. Meals are eaten at individual tables in the dining room or in the gardens.

Children: Children aged 8 years and over are welcome.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There is high speed internet access.
