Chobe Safari Lodge is in Kasane in northern Botswana on the banks of the Chobe River.  It is a large, good quality 81-bed lodge which makes a very good base for exploring Chobe National Park. The main building is an impressive large wood and thatch structure which feels airy, and very appropriate to its safari roots.
The accommodation is either in air-conditioned spacious safari rooms or river rooms, with some being on the first floor.  All the rooms have a bath and shower and TV, and a small private balcony. They are tastefully decorated.  There are also 8 rondavel chalet rooms in the gardens, and a few family rooms.  The terrace restaurant overlooks the Chobe River and there are cocktail and sunset bars where you can relax and chat to other guests. The lodge also has a swimming pool, a beauty salon, an internet cafe and a shop.
Whilst here you are here can enjoy game drives in the superb Chobe National Park, boat cruises on the Chobe River, walking and bird watching safaris (seasonal). Other optional extra activities include fishing, visiting a Namibian village and scenic flights over the rivers.
