The reception area was nice and welcoming. The lodges were clean and comfortable whilst maintaining a very rustic feel. Very nice to have air conditioning. The food was nice and plentiful as were the drinks. Laundry was done and returned all clean and neatly folded up which was very appreciated. Our guide Mike was outstanding. He had a good knowledge of the wildlife without being over bearing and was always up for a discussion on the species making sure our observations were correct. The game drives were fantastic . The lodge staff were very pleasant and helpful . The African songs they sang to us were amazing and made a lovely evening. We felt very safe in the camp and we appreciated the camp guide escorts back to our lodge in the dark.

we felt like we were part of the family at the camp. Wildlife was not as diverse as what we encountered in the delta, but people were very heartful (both in the camp as well as outside when visiting nearby villages).

The site overlooking the river was beautiful. The food was always very good. Chatting with other guests around the camp fire in the evening provided great insights for future holidays. The camp staff were very friendly and welcoming and on one evening put on a special display of singing and dancing to entertain the guests.

We were pleased we did add Chobe onto the end - it was different environment (wide flooded plain) and brought excellent birds by the river and a large pride of lions. Whole staff group were very friendly and welcoming. and the best singers of the four camps ! Less varied in the trips out as they mainly were going along the river and back. But there was a lot to see. Enjoyed the boat trip on the river.

All the staff and the super guide (Joel) made our stay here a wonderful experience. The accommodation was excellent and the wildlife experiences were superb and included close encounters with elephants.

Great intro to the area. Great view over the plains.. Evidently a lower standard than the others we stayed at, but expected this. Rooms were very good, comfortable and clean. Loved the inside and outside shower. Good mix of guests. Food was very good. Birthday celebrations lovely. Safari excursions good. Guide Innocent was very good, nice guy and very friendly.

it was an OK lodge but nothing too special. It served the purpose; one thing that was good was that chalets have air conditioning. The drives were not as interesting as in Shinde and Kanana but I appreciate the drives ere limited to tracks only (basically off roading was not allowed)

Our initial reaction was mixed but Chobe grew on us and was actually great. Comfortable and clean, very private rooms. Loved the choice of inside or outside showers. It is a little way to drive to the best wildlife areas but I didn't see any accommodation closer to the park gates. We didn't like the 'happy campers' introduction to dinner which made us feel uncomfortable for ourselves and for the chef and waiters/waitresses. Also not sure if eating on a group table always works - conversations can be all or nothing, and often were the latter. It's nice if you get the chance to sit with the guides though as you can learn about all aspects of their lives and culture.

An excellent location. The rooms are very comfortable and even though the night time temperature was low the insulation was so good that we never felt cold. The food was excellent, like home cooking rather than smart restaurant. Lovely home made bread. Friendly helpful staff and superb game viewing. Chobe is a very big park so there can be a lot of driving.

Again lovely staff and it was nice that the guides joined us for meals. The chalets were simple and we loved the outdoor showers. There were lots of touches in the rooms we liked, such as the bead rings on the taps to show hot and cold water. The pool area was beautiful, though we didn't get much time to spend there!

Absolutely first class we were welcomed by all the staff singing us a welcome and it got even better, as you walk in you look through the lounge area and see the whole Namibian plain laid out in front of you. The camp is pretty new and has really enthusiastic staff. The food is excellent and the lodges are well laid out. But the lodges are a fair walk away from the main building up hill. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable on all aspects of nature and the boat ride along the river was unforgettable.
