Chelinda Camp consists of self catering chalets, each with two bedrooms and bathrooms with showers or baths and a lounge and dining room in each chalet with an open log fire and kitchen. These chalets were originally parks board self catering accommodation and then were substantially upgraded by Nyika Safaris who left the property at the end of 2007. they can be booked as self-catering accommodation but our guests tend to prefer having meals prepared for them, by staff at the camp. having 2 bedrooms they make good family accommodation. There are also six en-suite rooms, and guests staying here dine in the main lounge. All guests have the use of the communal lounge, bar and dining area. 

The accommodation is simple but very comfortable with all facilities provided and excellent food. There are experienced staff at the camp who will look after the accommodation, stoke the fires and look after you well!

Visits to Chelinda normally include 2 game drives per day and a walk or an all day trip out with a picnic. The birding here is fantastic and night drives are also usually very productive with plenty of nocturnal wildlife. Mountain biking can also be arranges from Chelinda and fishing on the dam.
