In a beautiful setting by the shore of Lake Kariba, Changa Safari Camp offers days filled with game drives, walking safaris, boat trips and bird watching that will appeal to any nature lover. Activities are timed to coincide with cooler times of day, early monring and late afternoon, when wildlife is more active, leaving the hotter hours free for you to relax in camp. On your return each evening there are sundowner drinks by the firepit beside the lake, as you mull over the day's events and look forward to dinner.

The tented suites are arranged along the side of the lake. They are spacious and include 2 family tents. Large gauze windows admint plenty of light along with the lakeside breeze, and there are fans to help keep the interior cool in warm weather. Flaps can be fastened over the windows for a cosy feel after dark. Each tent has an indoor bathroom with twin hand basins, a separate toilet and, continuing through the tent there's an open air bath and shower, screened for privacy. At the front of each tent there's a veranda facing Lake Kariba. Wooden walkways link the tents with the central area.   

The rim flow pool is hard to resist, especailly on a hot day. Lazing here you can gaze out over the lake. There's a viewing deck where you can enjoy similar views, choosing whether to sit in the sun or the shade. Most meals are served at the large table in the mess tent, with others eaten outdoors. The main lounge is a tented room open to the breeze which has large sofas and armchairs and a library of books.
