Casa Andina Premium Puno

Lake Titicaca & Puno Peru

Average to good hotel ... rooms lack any airflow except French window which at altitude is difficult as you don't want to leave windows open all night especially st ground floor level Requested room change which they arranged very well

A good location looking out onto Lake Titicaca. The bedroom allocated looked out onto a small strip of grass and a road. We upgraded to an identical room overlooking the lake for $50. Front desk staff professional. The restaurant looked out to the lake and the food and service were excellent. Boardwalk down to the lake was excellent for bird (and Guinea pig!) watching.

Water in the rooms was 10 whereas in the previous Casa Andina it was 5. Sharp practice which doesn't look good. Good starters for dinner - that's all we had so can't comment on rest of menu.

Just an overnight stay here before travelling to Suasi Island. Room was fine, breakfast was good. There was a message waiting at reception on arrival to say that we were being picked up at 6:20am (for Suasi Island I thought). Fortunately our guide who had brought us to the hotel read the message properly and spotted that the pick-up was for a transfer to Bolivia. He then spent a good 20 minutes on the phone sorting it all out. Turned out that the hotel had made the error and the message was for someone of a similar name staying at the hotel. Thank you to the guide for sorting it all out as it was certainly very confusing at the time.

Good hotel at the shore of Lake Titicaca. Nice staff, good room with view on the garden. We benefited from the own landing stage to leave by boat the next morning :)

Modern hotel on lakeside, room ok, view over the car park (no triple rooms with lake view). Underwhelming accommodation but excellent food in the restaurant.
