The Casa Andina Premium Arequipa, previously Casa Andina Private Collection Arequipa, occupies the atmospheric former Mint House, a National Historic Monument built in 1794. This building has been extensively restored and remodelled and includes a newer extension, to form a lovely colonial hotel. It is set in the heart of the historic quarter of the city, near Santa Catalina convent, and close to the restaurant and bar district. It is just 3 blocks from Arequipa's main square, the Plaza de Armas. Thick stone walls, pillars, elegant arches, colourful frescoes and chandeliers add an air of grandeur. 

The restaurant is open for the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant has two rooms, with dark wooden floors and period furnishings and opens on to one of the two attractive courtyards. The colonial dining room has a high vaulted ceiling while the Republican-era room is decorated in opulent greens and reds. The restaurant specialises in local cuisine, with dishes including grilled ostrich and crayfish chowder. The colonial-style bar serves a wide range of drinks and opens on to the main courtyard.

There is a spa and sauna on site and the fourth-floor terrace has views of El Misti volcano and the cathedral.
