- Luxurious suites
Named after the largest inland delta in the world, Camp Okavango has 12 spacious suites including a family suite with 2 bedrooms. They are set on elevated wooden decks, and folding doors from the bedroom open out on to the large viewing deck. The bedroom is complimented by an en-suite bathroom with running hot and cold water, a double shower, twin hand basins and a supply of toiletries.
The main area is made up of a series of walkways and decks. There are 2 lounges, a cosy library, an elegant dining room and an honesty bar. There is plenty of outdoor desk space, too, where you can sit and enjoy the views, including 2 firepits both with seating, and a shaded sitting area. A little way off you come across another deck with an infinity pool and sunny and covered areas.
Most activities are water-orientated at Camp Okavango and include motorboat and mokoro rides, both excellent ways to explore the delta and views its abundant wildlife. You also have the chance to follow your guide on a walk in the bush, spending time observing small details like plants and insects, and tracking larger species. The bird life here is prolific and you can watch many species as you relax on the viewing decks.
