Open: Bwindi Lodge is open all year.

Location: The lodge is in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in south western Uganda. It is a one hour flight from Entebbe.

Rooms: There are 8 luxury bandas, made up of 6 doubles and 2 twins, with 4-poster beds fitted with mosquito nets. All have an en-suite bathroom with shower, twin hand basins and flush toilet. There is hot and cold running water. All rooms have balconies with views of the forest. The lodge provides a butler service.

Activities: Gorilla trekking is the main activity, but you can also follow a number of walking trails and visit a tea plantation, tour the local hospital and visit Bwindi Bar in the village

Facilities:The lodge has a large dining room with a communal table, and a lounge. There is terrace. The new Humula Forest Spa offers a massage service.

Dining: Meals are eaten as a group.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome, but the minimum age for gorilla trekking is 15 years.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There is Wi-Fi internet access in the main lodge but this can be slow.
