From its hilltop setting, Bumi Hills has views that are second to none. Sunsets over Lake Kariba are truly magical and this is the perfect place from which to enjoy them.

There are 10 rooms and 2 suites. All are en-suite with a fan, air-conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a minibar, safe and hairdryer. They are spacious and light. Arguably the best feature is the balcony or terrace, positioned to give you far reaching views over the lake.

The main area houses the dining room, bar, lounge and library. The dining room has views over the lake, perfect for spotting game grazing by the lakeshore as you eat, and there are terraces for al fresco meals. The food is a delicious fusion of continental cuisine with an African twist, served up with a generous helping of Zimbabwean hospitality. Relaxing between activities, you can curl up with a book or chat to guests in the lounge, or head outside to recline on a daybed by the alluring rim-flow pool. While here you can also treat yourself to your choice of treatments at the spa.

Activities at Bumi focus on the private conservation area which lies just outside Matusadona National Park, to the west.  Here you can partake in game drives and walking safaris seeking out 4 of the Big 5 that make this area their home. There are ample birding opportunities with over 300 species recorded in the area. Water activities include boat safaris, fishing and sunrise and sunset cruises. Guests interested in culture will enjoy a visit to a local village to meet members of the Tonga tribe.
