Open:  Bomani Tented Lodge is closed in January and February.

Location: The lodge is located on its own private 5,000 acre reserve in the south eastern corner of Hwange National Park. It is a four to five hour road transfer from Victoria Falls. You can also travel from Victoria Falls to Bomani by road to Dete where you board the Elephant Express for the remainder of the journey.

Rooms:  There are ten tented suites and one bungalow.  All are en-suite with hot running water, fans and a safe. Each has a comfortable seating area and a writing desk and a small private deck.  Some, including the bungalow, overlook the waterhole. Suites vary in size from 48 to 250sqm, the last with two en-suite bedrooms makes good  family accommodation.

Activities:  Day and night game drives are offered here (the night drives are in the private reserve). Guided walks are a good way to get up close and personal with nature too and learn about the 'little things'.  Horse riding is a popular pasttime. Village visits can be arranged to give you an insight into the local culture. Picnic lunches out in the bush ensure you can maximise your time here. Also you can take part in a 'pump run' spending the day visiting the 15 essential water pumps that Imvelo maintains, delivering fuel, oil and supplies to the pump attendants. Watch wildlife up close from an underground blind.

Facilities:   The main area of the lodge has a lounge, dining area and a well-stocked bar.  The waterhole adjacent to the lodge is well visited by the local wildlife. There is a laundry service offered too.

Dining:   Meals are served at a communal table. When possible meals are served on the deck, otherwise under cover in the dining area.

Children:  Children aged seven and older are welcome at Bomani, it is not suitable for younger children. 4 children and 2 adults can be accommodated in the Sable Suite.

Health:  This is a malarial area.

Communication:  There is free Wi-Fi internet access at the lodge, though this can be slow at times. There is mobile phone reception.
