Open: Beach Lodge is open all year.

Location: The lodge overlooks the beach, as the name suggests, about 5kms from the centre of Swakopmund.

Rooms: There are 10 standard twin rooms, 2 standard family rooms, 5 luxury double rooms and 2 luxury family rooms. All are en-suite, have TV, phone, hairdryer, tea and coffee maker, fridge, safe and are sea-facing and have either a balcony or terrace. Family units have 2 bedrooms. Standard family units have self-catering facilities, and luxury family units have a lounge. All rooms have either a fireplace or an electric heater.

Activities: You can take walks along the beach by the lodge. In Swakopmund you can take part in numerous activities such as trips in the Namib Desert, visits to the Cape Cross seal colony, dolphin cruises, bird watching trips, fishing and sandboarding.

Facilities: These include a lounge with a computer for guest use, a restaurant (see below), bar and a lawned area to the front of the building with sunloungers. There is secure car parking on site.

Dining: The lodge provides a choice of a cooked or continental breakfast every morning. The Wreck restaurant is open to lodge guests and the general public for lunch and dinner, and specialises in seafood. There are other restaurants nearby.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome.

Health: This is a low risk malaria area.

Communication: There is Wi-Fi internet access in rooms and social areas.
