Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the quiet northern suburbs of Harare when you stay at Armadale Lodge.  It's just a short drive from the airport and only 10 minutes from the centre of the city making it a very convenient stopover.

The property was built in 1904 and retains its old world character, this is complimented by contemporary decor with African and Asian touches. The lodge enjoys a huge, well established landscaped garden, the perfect peaceful getaway where you can recuperate after a long haul flight. The large swimming pool is the spot for a refreshing dip and there are plenty of comfy sun loungers too.

The 9 suites are all individually themed and decorated. Some have an African theme and some an Indian theme, and all have been thoughtfully designed and laid out so you have a good sense of privacy.  The en-suite bathrooms are also all different, some modern with just showers, others more traditional in style have both a bath and shower. The beds are comfortable and decked with quality linen so you are assured of a good nights rest in the stylish and spotless rooms.

The guest house has plenty of areas where you can sit and relax.  The lounge has comfy sofas, a warm fire in winter months, and the wrap-around veranda has seating where you can rest and survey the gardens, look for birds and enjoy the shade, there's even a library stocked with both reference books and fiction. Dining takes place under cover or outside in the sunshine.  A scrumptious breakfast is included in your stay but lunch and dinner are also on offer from a varied menu.  Alternatively you could opt to try one of the restaurants located within walking distance or a short taxi ride away.
