The resort is located in a picturesque coconut grove on the coast in Anomabo to the west of Accra, a former slave trade port now a popular tourist centre. There are several castles on this part of the coast including the famous one at Elmina. The beach here is long and sandy, there are cooling breezes during the day and the calm water is perfect for swimming.
There are two styles of rooms. The basic ones in the Ankama compound have fans to keep them cool and guests have the use of shared bathrooms. The rooms in Ekutu compound have en-suite bathrooms, are air conditioned and have private terraces. All rooms have plenty of storage space.
The restaurant is on a raised deck overlooking the ocean and serves Ghanaian and international food. At breakfast there's a wide choice of options including fresh fruit, cereal, bread and cooked meals. Popular lunch and dinner dishes include a variety of salads, dips, pasta, pizza and burgers. Seafood features prominently on the menu and includes sole and lobster and there are lots of meat and vegetarian options, too.
