Open: Anjajavy lHotel is open all year.

Location: The hotel is on Anjajavy Peninsula on the northwest coast, off the road network and can only be reached by private plane. It is set in a private reserve of 750 hectares. The nearest airports are at Majunga (40 minute drive) and Nosy Be (1 hour drive).

Rooms: There are 24 villas. Accommodation is arranged over 2 floors. Ground floor: bedroom-cum-lounge with a queen bed and a seating area and table, kettle and fridge, bathroom with bathtub, separate toilet, sea-facing terrace with a hammock, deckchairs, table and foot spa. First floor/mezzanine: loft bedroom with twin beds, table and chair. There is electricity for lighting and villas are air conditioned.

Activities: Water-based activities include snorkelling, catamaran cruises, kayaking in the sea and mangroves, waterskiing, wakeboarding, windsurfing and fishing. Land-based activities include mountain biking, village visits, guided and non-guided walks, bird watching and private picnics. Some activities incur an extra charge, to be paid locally.

Facilities: The restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining areas. There is an infinity pool and sunbathing deck with loungers and parasols. The hotel features L’Oasis, a specially designed garden retreat open to all guests. It is kept at constant humidity by water sprays, and filled with aquatic plants, ferns and palm trees, as well as hummingbirds, malachite kingfishers and lemurs.

Dining: Dine on French-inspired meals made with seasonal produce. Breakfast is a choice of a light continental or a full cooked meal, there is a choice of dishes for lunch and dinner consists of 3 courses. Beach barbecues are often arranged, and private meals and picnics can be organised.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome. The mezzanine floor of each villa can sleep up to 2 children. Special children’s meals can be arranged, as can babysitting. The swimming pool is not supervised by a lifeguard and children must be kept under close supervision at all times.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There is Wi-Fi internet access in the main hotel.
