Anderssons at Ongava

Open:  Anderssons at Ongava is open all year round.

Location:  The camp is located on the private Ongava concession, adjacent to Etosha National Park.

Rooms:  There are 9 guest suites including a family unit where each room is en-suite.  All have air conditioning, the en-suite has both indoor and outdoor showers, double basin and separate toilet. Outside you have an outdoor deck with seating and 180-degree views. Each room includes the free use of an iPad loaded with nature apps.

Activities:  Day drives, night drives and nature walks (seasonal) in the Ongava concession are offered by camp, in addition to full and half-day game drives in Etosha with a picnic lunch.  There's a hide for viewing and photography and stargazing is superb on clear nights. It is also possible to self-drive into Etosha. It is worth noting that self-drivers may drive into Etosha during the day but any excursions on the Ongava reserve are optional extras.

Facilities:   The main area incorporates the lounge, dining area and bar. Open to the front it makes the most of the views. There is a firepit area, popular in the evenings and for those hot afternoons there is a stunning infinity pool.

Dining:  Meals can be taken communally or at separate tables.

Children:  Children aged six years and over are welcome. Those 12 and under require a private vehicle to be booked.

Health:  This is a malaria area.

Communication:  There is limited mobile phone reception here and WiFi in the main area.
