Open: Launched on September 1st 2018, AndBeyond Vira Vira is open all year round.

Location: Vira Vira is in Chile's Lake District just outside Pucon. From Temuco airport you transfer by road (1h40). Helicopter transfers of 25 minutes operate in peak season for an additional cost. You can fly into several other local airports though the road transfers are longer. 

Rooms: There are 6 suites, 12 villas and one 'sole use' Hacienda. All have been built using natural materials and are individually decorated with unique artefacts and tapestries. Suites are spacious and comfortable with large en-suite bathrooms and views of the estate or the Liucura River. The villas are larger with split level living.  Panoramic windows showcase the views. There is a fireplace, large bathroom, spacious terrace overlooking the river and an outdoor tub. The 5 bedroom Hacienda is perfect for families or small groups travelling together. The master bedroom has an outdoor hot tub. 3 of the remaining 4 bedrooms are en-suite. There's an open plan living/dining room, terrace, and a family room on the second floor. Guests staying here have a personal chef and private excursions. All rooms have safe, wifi, underfloor heating, telephone, hairdryer

Activities: You have an initial meeting with a guide to plan your day to day activities, revolving around your preferences. Possible activities include trekking, horse riding, mountain biking, white-water rafting, seasonal fishing (catch and release), kayaking, bird watching, vegetable garden and onsite cheese factory tour, skiing and snowboarding (seasonal) snowshoeing, yoga, stand-up paddle boarding, cultural mapuche experience, floating on the Liucura River. Optional activities include spa treatments, ascent of the Villarrica Volcano, scenic flight over the volcano, heli-hiking, heli-biking, hot springs, snowmobiling, husky dog sledding. (Some activities are seasonal so please check with us).

Facilities: The lodge has a restaurant (see below) and a bar serving local beers and Chilean wines among other beverages. There is a shop, library, massage room, 2 hot tubs, yoga studio and wine cellar. The lodge has an organic vegetable garden and an onsite cheese factory.

Dining: The restaurant serves dishes made from carefully sourced natural products. Ingredients are sourced from the farm or from local producers. The team create delicious 3 course lunches and 4 course dinners with a southern Chilean flair.

Children: Children over the age of 6 are welcome in the Suites and Villas. Child minding is available at an extra cost. A private guide must be booked at an additional cost. The lodge becomes adults only between 17 December and 15 January.  Families with children of any age can book the exclusive Hacienda at any time.  

Health: There is no malaria in Chile.

Communication: There is wifi internet access and telephones in all guest suites.
