Anantara Bazaruto Resort and Spa (formerly Indigo Bay) is an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the delights of island living such as swimming and diving in the ocean waters, savouring gorgeous seafood, horse riding along the beach and visiting a local; village. You'll have have no shortage of things to do!
The resort consists of 44 villas divided into 5 categories, some with views of the beach and others by the pool. All are spacious and decorated in warm tones of cream and beige, with textiles adding splashes of colour. Each villa has an en-suite bathroom, indoor lounge area and private deck or terrace, some with plunge pools. Modern touches include air conditioning, flat screen TV, tea and coffee maker, safe and minibar.   
There are three restaurants offering a range of flavoursome Mediterranean and international dishes in different locations such as by the pool, on a seafront terrace and in an elegant dining room. In addition the resort offers private dining in specially chosen settings.  
There are many activities available, including a selection of watersports, snorkelling, diving and beach volleyball. There are special dolphin watching cruises and dhow cruises during the day and at sunset. Inland you can take a bird watching tour with a specialist guide, go horse riding and, for the more energetic, try dune boarding. You can offset this activity with a visit to Anantara Spa, open daily, where you can relax with a massage, body wrap or facial.
