  • Views of Dokhtawady River from your terrace
  • Half and full day treks in the hills
  • Visit waterfalls and hot springs
  • Choice of Shan, Burmese and Chinese dishes
  • Large en-suite rooms

The resort is located in the Old Hsipaw Shan Village on the banks of the Dokhtawady River. There are ten bungalows, each housing two guest rooms. They are air conditioned, have ceiling fans, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite bathrooms. All the rooms face the river and have private verandas.

The restaurant serves Burmese, Shan, Chinese and western food. There's a separate bar with a good range of drinks. You'll have free wifi in all public areas, so can catch up on emails, news and sporting events if you wish. The hotel is set in pleasant gardens, ideal for gentle exercise.

Hsipaw is a trekking centre and you'll be able to go on half day and full day treks, which the hotel can arrange. These span all levels of difficulty so you'll be sure to find one to suit you. Longer treks, including an overnight stay in a local village, can be organised on request. This is a good area to explore by bike, too. Other activities include trips to waterfalls, hot springs and boat rides on the Dokthawady River. The hotel is on the opposite side of the river to the main town and boat transfers can be arranged at your request.
