138 is just the most fabulous place. Belinda is such an asset to them - she organises meals, taxis, days out, maps - she is just wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place - wonderful stay.

Superb location. Excellent manager who had prebooked two different places for dinner and organised a special guided land tour for whale watching. Another time I would suggest booking 2 separate days boat trips as they do get cancelled about once a week on average. Perhaps we should have had an afternoon transfer to Cape Town to allow for this.

138 Marine was in a stunning location right on the beach. Breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sea. Idyllic! Bearing in mind how busy Hermanus was at the time, Belinda had already booked us in at some very nice restaurants, which was a very thoughtful gesture.

The proprietor could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The house was well appointed and the ambience was relaxing and exuding quality and attention to detail. Each day breakfast was a work of art and very tasty. A Champagne breakfast was served for my friends birthday. A lovely touch.The views were out of this world. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
