Location: The guesthouse is on Whale Walk in Hermanus, a 5 minute drive from the town centre.
Rooms: There are 6 guest rooms, a mix of superior and luxury, all en-suite with twin hand basins and heated towel rails, and with satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, safe, underfloor heating and heated towel rails. Each room is named: abalone (luxury), coral (luxury), oyster (superior), periwinkle (luxury), seastar (superior) and mussel (luxury).
Activities: You can go whale watching from the deck or by boat (seasonal, from July to November), go swimming, snorkelling and diving, enjoy some bird watching, take walks and hikes, explore on horseback, visit cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries in Hermanus, play golf and visit wine estates. Staff are able to provide information and ideas for excursions and activities.
Facilities: There are 2 lounges (1 upstarirs and 1 downstairs), a terrace and beachside deck. Massages can be arranged at the lodge.
Dining: The guesthouse serves a daily breakfast. There are restaurants in the neighborhood for lunch and dinner.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome. Families with children aged under 12 need to book the downstairs bedrooms which are seastar and mussel.
Health: This is a non-malarial area.
Communication: There is complimentary Wi-Fi internet access in guest rooms.
