Matetsi Victoria Falls features two camps, each runs alongside the river with 9 suites and a family suite, all river facing. The suites are contemporary in design yet every effort has been made to successfully blend them into the scenery. The modern interiors are enhanced with rustic touches and exquisite artworks by Zimbabwean-born painter, Helen Teede. The king size bed sits in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to view the river bank and its inhabitants from your bed. The en-suite bathroom has both and indoor and outdoor shower and the free-standing bathtub also commands views of the river for you to enjoy as you relax. The shady and spacious private veranda provides more magnificent river views, here you can relax in the comfortable sitting area or enjoy the cool waters of your own plunge pool. As night draws in, this venue provides the perfect lantern-lit romantic setting for a private dinner.
The inviting main area gives you the opportunity to mingle with other guests as you take in those river views once more. There is an infinity pool, a shady guest area and a small deck down by the river where refreshments can be enjoyed. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink in the cosy bar before sitting down to eat. The dining experience takes place under cover or alfresco on the deck, serenaded by the sounds of the African night time.
There is also River House, a private villa with 4 en-suite bathrooms and spacious indoor and outdoor living areas. It comes with dedicated staff including guide, tracker, chef and butler. The sparkling private pool overlooks the Zambezi. This is a wonderful place for a small group travelling together.
Thanks to the location Matetsi is able to offer a host of activities to keep you entertained during your stay. There are morning and afternoon game drives in the concession where you might spot a variety of animals in the surrounding area, including elephant, hippo, lion, leopard and wild dog, bush walks with a qualified guide are also offered. If you want to make the most of the river then sunrise and sunset boat cruises are a must, and why not try your and at fishing. If all of this isn't enough, then Victoria Falls is a short drive away with plenty of adrenalin activities on offer.

Rooms: There are 2 separate camps, each with 9 suites giving a feeling of a small, intimate camp. Matetsi Victoria Falls can accommodate a maximum of 48 guests. Each spacious suite is river facing with a private deck and plunge pool. The rooms are spacious and modern, cooled by fans, and have indoor and outdoor showers, a separate toilet and a bathtub with a view. Beds are fitted with mosquito nets, and each suites has a safe, minibar, hairdyer, phone and Wi-Fi. There are 2 family suites, each with 2 en-suite bedrooms linked by a corridor, a lounge, dressing room, deck and plunge pool. In addition there is a 4 bedroom private villa called River House. This has it's own kitchen open plan living, a private plunge pool and spacious indoor and outdoor areas. It comes with a private vehicle and a dedicated team to look after you.

Facilities: The central area has a spacious deck with a pool, overlooking the river. Here there is a lounge, bar, and dining area. Outdoor dining can also take place on the deck. There is a boma with a campfire. The lodge provides a free laundry service. Other facilities include a massage area, shop and gym.
Dining: The food at Matetsi is excellent and is served inside or outside depending on the weather. Private dining on your tent deck can be arranged for special occasions.
Children: Children are welcome, there is no age restriction. There are 2 large family suites. Children are given the opportunity to participate in the camps Wild Child programme which features interactive activities based around nature and culture.
Health: This is a malarial area.
