Puku Ridge Camp is an intimate camp in Zambia's South Luangwa National Park with 7 large walk-in canvas safari tents. Each tent has a private teak veranda with views across the expansive Kakumbi flood plains.
All have an ensuite bathroom and outdoor shower. Interconnecting pathways link the tents to the main camp area where the bar, dining and lounge relaxation areas are located. The camp has been designed to blend in with its natural surroundings and is unobtrusive.
Puku Ridge Camp offers game drives and night drives into the South Luangwa National Park with opportunities to view diverse wildlife. Guests also have the chance to do bush walks accompanied by a guide and an armed park scout. In the evening guests can relax and relive the day's events with star-lit views of nocturnal game on the floodplain as a backdrop. Children aged 6 and over are welcome here.
"The tents really do have great views onto the floodplain, and I really liked the feel of this place. The tents are massive and the main area is stylish and open. It's not ideal for anyone with walking difficulties as the paths are a bit rough. If you like leopards this is a great option as they're often spotted from the camp."
