The Boma Guest House

Nile & Lakes

Rating: Modest

The Boma Guest House overview

The Boma Guest House is a small, family run guesthouse located in the suburbs of Entebbe, just 5 minutes drive from Entebbe International Airport.

The Boma is a tastefully restored colonial homestead. The accommodation consists of 6 bedrooms decorated along African themes, all of which have their own private bathroom. A residents' and diners' bar set in a landscaped garden with lake views combine to provide a charming and relaxed “country houseâ€Â experience.

The main house includes a private dining veranda and living room for overnight guests. Although a pre-booked dining service is provided to non-residents, the premises retain a quiet atmosphere to guarantee a peaceful night's rest for residents.

Open: The Boma Guest House is open all year.

"The best place was Mahagony springs- 2 nights, I stayed a night at the lake Victoris hotel ( there were complications in respect of the last night bookings at Boma- they only have a room without attached bath and toilet). The service there was awful ."

Mr. Andrew Cox
"We didn't know the Boma had a pool from the info provided by Tribes. This was a very welcome bonus. They treated us to a bottle of Amarula for our honeymoon which was very gratefully received. Food was very good particularly the Avocado starters.
Mr Trevor Thompson
"Difficult to give a rating as we were only there from 11:30pm to 6am."
Miss Gillian Read
"Five hours there so no comment"
