Sayari Camp is situated at a fantastic site on the Mara River in the remote northern Serengeti, one of Africa's best kept secrets! Sayari Camp is ideally located to witness the great migration between August and November across the Mara River, weather depending, but is great all year round and became a permanent camp in 2009.
As well as game drives, Sayarai Camp offers walking safaris in the early morning and late afternoon.
The camp is personal and original and consists of 15 tented suites arranged to either side of the main lodge. Each has its own veranda with comfy chairs to enjoy the beautiful view of the Serengeti. Entering through glass doors the interior is cool and spacious with a king-sized bed, beautiful traditional fabrics and contemporary furniture. The en-suite bathroom has running hot and cold water, a double sink, bathtub and shower. In addition there is one suite, ideal for honeymooners or guests wanting a little more privacy, complete with an outdoor bath as well as indoor one, and an extended deck area.
The camp's central area has a large comfortable lounge with a bar, and dining area. There is a large open deck, perfect for wildlife viewing and for outdoor meals. The map room has a collection of modern and historical documents. There is a lovely infinity swimming pool.
Great food - a fusion of authentic African and nouvelle European cuisine - is served to compliment the atmosphere in this idyllic bush retreat.
