The Ngorongoro Farm House is a friendly lodge facing the Oldeani Volcano. It is a 500 acre estate just 5kms from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Lolduare gate.
The main building houses the lounge and restaurant where delicious home-cooked meals are served. Much of the dairy produce and vegetables used is produced on the farm. There is also an outdoor deck with views of Oldeani Volcano. There is an outdoor swimming pool. Buffet lunches are sometimes served here.The farm has large vegetable and flower gardens and you are welcome to explore these at your leisure. You can also have a guided walk around the farm visiting the vegetable gardens and farm animals. Other activities include treks in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, nature walks with Maasai guides and enjoying a soothing massage.
There are 52 rooms including 3 suites. All have large beds with mosquito nets, en-suite shower rooms and private verandas. They are decorated in a rustic style with local materials. Rooms are in the gardens and are linked by walkways. There are triple rooms and interconnecting rooms for families.

Location: Ngorongoro Farm House faces the Oldeani Volcano and is 5kms from Ngorongoro Lolduare gate. The property covers 500 acres and was formerly a coffee farm. The nearest airstrips are at Ngorongoro and Manyara. The lodge is 190kms from Arusha.
Rooms: There are 49 standard rooms and 3 suites. 6 rooms are interconnecting and 7 are triple rooms. All have private bathrooms with showers and verandas. Rooms are supplied with mosquito nets, bottled water and telephones. Cottages are scattered through the gardens and linked by a network of paths.
Activities: You can go trekking in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, take a walking safari in the forest, enjoy a nature walk with a Maasai guide, go to Lake Eyasi home to the Hadzabe tribe and visit Karatu town. Relax at the lodge, enjoy strolls in the gardens and a guided walk around the farm.

0"We also stayed at the Ngorongoro Farmhouse. A lovely setting, huge rooms and wonderful food and some local entertainment before dinner. The wine was twice the price of every where else that we stayed."
